We are constantly on the prowl for great products. This week, we bring you two great upcoming events!

Who doesn’t love Central Market?  They are always doing something fun over there.  Starting this Wednesday, May 11 at 5p.m., Passport Spain kicks off.  This two-week event (May 11-24) brings customers the very best in Spanish cuisine.

Ramon Martinez, Executive Chef of Jaleo, helps kick things off with a little paella cooking in front of the store (3815 Westheimer).  Under the massive tent, patrons will also be treated to Spanish music and flamenco dancers.  VIP guests are invited to a private Cava tasting.  Tickets to this kickoff, along with all of the other events can be purchased online.

Also, don’t forget this weekend is the big Haute Wheels Houston (the city’s first food truck festival).  I’ll be there with friends on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.  We’ll be picking the best food truck!  If you’d like to join our group, feel free to shoot me an email at: wcshalin@hotmail.com.
