My random thoughts…brought to you once a week.

  • I went to New York City last weekend for the first time in 12 years.
  • Had a few minor celeb sightings…I literally almost ran into Tim Gunn, also saw Michael Symon shooting a Lay’s commercial.
  • I randomly bumped into some old friends from Houston while crossing the street (in NYC). What are the odds, one in 13 million?
  • Only in NYC: There was some dude standing outside in a long line (waiting to get into a club). He had on super short shorts, a mega-tight t-shirt, and one of those monster fur Russian hats. Note: it was 4pm on a Sunday. All I could think about was one of those Stefon skits.
  • I’m Strange: When at a grocery store parking lot, I never grab one of the carts sitting by a car. I always get one that’s neatly placed with the others inside the store. Those aren’t “used.”
  • Why does that little red box at the top of Facebook (that says someone responded) get me so excited? It shouldn’t, but damn if it doesn’t. I really need to get a life.
  • If I see another “Call Me Maybe” parody You Tube clip, I’m gonna f-ing puke.
  • Please…can we never say or type the expression “Dirty Thirties” ever again? It annoys the sh*t out of me. Along with sounding completely stupid, what exactly about your 30’s is dirty? Well, other than wiping your 3-year-old’s ass seven times a week.
  • If you don’t enjoy watching Kevin Durant play basketball…then I hate you.
  • I really like this new Astros’ regime.
  • This video never gets old.

There is absolutely no exaggeration to your comment. That place is special!

KD is far and away my favorite player in the NBA. I, too, like the new Astros regime. And Stefon is gold.

That was absolutely nuts what KD did to the Spurs the other night. It reminded me of Olajuwon against the Spurs way back.

Agreed. I could watch that video a million times over and still hyperventilate laughing.

Molly, I fully expect that to happen one day to Sara and I at a ballgame.
