My random thoughts…brought to you once a week!

  • Boston has the sh*ttiest drivers on the planet.  Some of the things I see on a routine basis would blow your mind.  I almost killed five individuals on five separate incidents…just on my drive to the mall. None of them would have been my fault.  Swear.
  • It’s been an interesting season of Entourage, although this Bobby Flay angle is really weak. Him sharing the screen with Piven is painful.
  • Why is it the older you get, the more consumed you are with the weather?  My dad’s favorite channel is the radar map.
  • Do you have any idea how many times I’ve watched Good Luck Charlie this summer?
  • I now love Indian food…go figure!
  • Facebook Folly: You know what I haven’t seen in the last ten minutes?  A photo from inside someone’s car showing how hot it is. No one gives a shiz that it’s 126 degrees inside your Civic.
  • I went to the Harvard Farmer’s Market yesterday.  Check it out if you are in the Cambridge area.
  • So…last week in Boston we had an earthquake AND a hurricane.  I felt nor saw either of them.

Been awhile since I’ve driven in Boston, but, as I recall, there’s a simple principle that governs every driver there. It is:

What is the most asshole thing possible for someone else to do in this situation?

That is what the other driver is going to do. Stuff like, busting a left turn as soon as the light turns green or trying to cross a street with a car barreling towards someone. There you go. Now use this knowledge to anticipate what the lunatics are going to do. Soon, you’ll be doing it too.
