My random thoughts…brought to you once a week!

  • How long does it take to open a library for goodness sake? I guess in Houston, about two months…after completion!
  • I go to concerts like never. Well, almost never. Go figure, last week I attended two of them. Both completely opposite ends of the spectrum. Monday was a Plain White T’s concert and Friday was Kenny Loggins with the Houston Symphony. You haven’t lived until you’ve seen KL sing Footloose with an orchestra behind him.
  • I attended the Rodeo Uncorked event with some friends. I’ve never seen that much food and wine under one roof.
  • Do you watch as much House Hunters as I do? What’s your price threshold where you automatically hate a couple? Mine is anything over 500K. I’m especially fond of any couple looking for a starter home in the 1.1-1.5 million range.
  • On my drive to work yesterday, I witnessed a lady hock a loogie out of her car window. Sexy!
  • Did everyone make it through the Silly Bandz craze of 2010?
  • I tried Big Red Cock for the first time this week. It was delicious. Hey-oh!
  • My daughter is going through an “I don’t like to wear socks all day, but love boots, then love to take my boots off in dad’s car” phase. I almost drove into a ditch from the horror of the smell.
  • Best dessert in Houston: Samba Grille’s tres leches.
  • Taco Bell has come out with a burrito stuffed with fire Fritos. Promotions are targeting 20-somethings who enjoy diarrhea.

HAHA – is it wrong that a part of me wants to TRY the fire Frito burrito!?

We watch HH international, all the time. We individually guess at which house the couple will chose, and keep track of who’s got the better record.
