Big news for folks in Conway.
Taj Mahal Indian Kitchen, the popular Little Rock restaurant that recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, is set to open a Conway location at 2850 Prince Street #79. Right now, the restaurant group is looking at June 2019.
“Conway is an emerging market with three major universities all within a 20-mile radius, along with two major companies employing over 2000+ employees. In the last two years, the food scene has spiced up dramatically. There is more of a demand for Indian food all over the nation and that is also true for Conway,” says owner Mahek Shah.
No worries for the people of Little Rock, as the long-time location isn’t going anywhere.
“Taj Mahal Indian Kitchen in Little Rock will be unscathed and will set the tone for additional future restaurants to come in other parts of emerging the Arkansas region. Taj Mahal is part of a privately owned group with a total of four restaurants to their name, including Cleveland, Little Rock, Alexandria, Virgina, and now Conway. There are plans to open up two more Arkansas locations in as early as 2020,” says Shah.
The new 5000-sqft Conway location will have seating for over 100 guests, as well as two bars inside the restaurant.
And the menu?
“As we are speeding up the opening process, we are also working on introducing a new menu for both the Little Rock and Conway locations,” says Shah.
Congrats, Conway … and Taj Mahal.
