Now Open: Paninis & Company in Midtown

I’m already a big fan of the I Love Juice Bar, so I was happy to find out that Paninis & Company, a new sandwich concept developed by Tommy Keet, has joined forces with the existing eatery and will provide fresh sandwiches and salads with house made dressings and Boar’s Head meat and cheeses.

Sandwiches will be made-to-order and patrons can dine-in, take-out, and even utilize catering options in the very near future. A variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options will also be available. From a sampling, it’s obvious the menu is well-thought-out, with an eye towards satisfying varying palettes.

“We are so excited to open Paninis & Company in conjunction with our award-winning Juice Bar,” says owner, Tommy Keet. A variety of unique and delicious sandwiches and paninis will be offered. Keet has collaborated with multiple local chefs to ensure quality products. “We are committed to only providing the best meats and cheeses, which is why we have partnered with Boar’s Head as our exclusive meat and cheese provider.”

Sandwiches range in price from $4.99-$7.99 and include:

2 + 3 PANINI (Kind of a Cuban)
smoked turkey, tavern ham, pickles, swiss, provolone, and havarti with panini sauce pressed on sourdough

PIMENTO CHEESE SANDWICH
spicy pimento cheese with lettuce, tomato served on toasted sourdough

REUBEN REIMAGINED
smoked turkey or corned beef with swiss, sauerkraut, sauteed onions, panini sauce on marble rye

SMOKED TURKEY SALAD
homemade turkey salad, lettuce, tomato, apple, and onion on a toasted wheat

CALIFORNIA CLUB
smoked turkey, tavern ham, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and avocado on a toasted sourdough

THA SANDWICH
smoked turkey, havarti, seasoned apples, and deli mustard pressed on sourdough

#vegan
hummus, avocado, lettuce, cucumber, red onions, and tomato on toasted wheat

THREE CHEESE MELT
cheddar, provolone, and havarti, pressed on sourdough

mix of romaine and spring mix, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheddar and swiss, ham, turkey, boiled egg, and toasted sunflower seeds served with a house dressing

As you can see, the sandwich selection is a nice mix of healthy options and ones, like the Reuben Reimagined, which allow you to let loose with the caloric intake. Speaking of the Reuben, it’s a must-order, as is the 2 + 3 Panini and the #vegan. Also, be sure to try the pimento cheese, a hearty three-cheese combo that’s sure to please savvy pimento cheese-loving Arkansans. It’s offered in a sandwich or as a Starter.
