I dedicate this picture to Carrie.

We’re always on the prowl for cool products!

What is it?
I’ll let Pop Chips describe:

“We don’t fry it (unhealthy). We don’t bake it (undelicious). We take wholesome potatoes, add a little heat and pressure, and pop! It’s a chip. The only thing added is a flavorful blend of seasonings for a snack so delicious and crispy, you won’t even notice it’s (we hesitate to say) healthier.” Yeah, I know…sounds like bullsh*t to me too.  Isn’t adding a little heat also known as baking?  Truth be told, I love me some Pop Chips. I bought a monster bag of them at Costco a few months back and devoured it in three days.

Why is it so great?

That’s a dumb question.  That’s like asking, “Why is air important?”  All chips are great…it’s just a question of level of greatness.  Pop Chips are at a high level.  And now, they come in many varieties!

What’s the price?

Can’t remember, but they’re chips…you can ballpark it.

Where can I buy some?

At Costco’s, at Georgia’s Farm to Market (in Houston-many varieties), on their web site.  Haven’t seen them in regular grocery stores, but they might be.  It’s only a matter of time before the Pop Chip phase sweeps across America and takes hold.

Thanks for the pic dedication! : ) I tried the salt & pepper version and while I did not love the flavor, I loved the chip. I’ll give them another try!

Look at all the glorious flavors they offer Carrie! This maybe one of the best pics I’ve ever posted.
