We are always on the prowl for cool products!

The Product

I’m a sucker for anything butternut squash, so when I was meandering through Costco a few weeks ago and stumbled upon this product, I had to give it a whirl. As you would expect, it’s kind of sweet, maybe even a little too sweet for some. Consider doing what I did–mix it with half regular tomato sauce (like Ragu). It takes away some of that sweetness and the kids seem to like it. This product also makes a great dipping sauce. We brought some over for Dinner Club the other night and used it to dip our tortellini.  This fairly healthy product is high in vitamins A and C, as well as fiber.  This stuff ran through my 19-month-old like a bullet train!

The Cost

I think 2 giant (25.5 oz) bottles ran me around $6.50.

Where can I find it?

Where else? Costco of course! Also, looks like Dave has a pretty cool web site with a variety of products. The pasta sauce is found there, but a little more expensive.
