My wife asked me to make her a drink the other night. I stumbled upon this recipe and figured why not? I made it, snapped the picture, and then took a sip. It tasted somewhere between paint thinner and diesel fuel. Remember Nicholas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas? Even he would shutter at the thought of Tokyo Tea. But just in case you’re feeling brave (and please stay at home), here’s the recipe. And don’t say I didn’t warn you. Tokyo Tea can also be used to start lawnmowers, as well as remove common nail polishes.

Oh by the way, he neglected to add that he didn’t make me drink it. I was served a wonderful, classic gin and tonic and never found out about the disaster that was Tokyo Tea…
