The holidays are in full swing! So…today we have two Food Finds!
Paul Miller, owner of Union Kitchen, 4057 Bellaire Boulevard, will be celebrating New Year’s Eve four times on Saturday, December 31, 2011. “Many of our customers have children who have early bed times,” stated Miller, “so we decided to help them welcome the New Year with the entire family, at four different ‘midnights,’ complete with noise makers and hats!” There will be a traditional countdown preceding each hour beginning at 7 pm, when it is New Year’s Eve in London, England. At 8 pm, The Azores: 9 pm: San Paulo, Brazil, and 10 pm: Nanortalik, Greenland.”
The three-course prix fixe menu includes a split of champagne. Price: $60 per couple, plus tax and gratuity. The regular dinner menu and children’s menu will also be available.

Soup: Lobster Bisque
Salad: Diana’ Salad or Chopped Salad
Entrée: (Choice of One): 8 oz Filet Mignon, Grilled Chicken Oscar, Crab Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp, or Pasta Primavera
The Union Kitchen features a unique global menu served in a casual atmosphere. Our lunch menu focuses on sandwiches, wraps, and entree salads and burgers. At dinner, steaks, chops, chicken dishes and seafood take center stage. Our thin-crust pizzas are baked in a hand-made brick-oven all day long.
