We are always on the prowl for good products!

Ever had a Goo Goo Cluster?  If you’re from Tennessee…I’m guessing the answer is yes.  Goo Goo’s come in three varieties: Original (chocolate, marshmellow, peanuts, and caramel), Supreme (chocolate, marshmellow, pecans, and caramel), and Peanut Butter (peanuts, peanut butter, and chocolate).  A box of two-count ran me about $2.50.

I personally believe chocolate and peanut butter is the best flavor combo in the history of the universe…so, you can guess which product I selected on a recent road trip.

Think Reese’s, but a little fancier…and the added bonus of some peanuts.  I’m guessing the Original and Supreme versions are just as tasty.  Maybe next time.  If you live in Nashville, you can find these things all around town, specifically Kroger’s.  I found my box at a Cracker Barrel Country Store (every other exit in Tennessee).

If you’re not near either, go online…although, when I just checked, they were “out of stock” on everything.  How is that possible?  Oh well, if you interested, check back.  They’re worth it!

This brings me back to my childhood. The local “mom and pop” pharmacy in town sold these and I would get one every time we had to go pick up a prescription. I would look forward to my Goo Goo Cluster and ice cold Coke every month!

Maybe these things are more mainstream than I thought. This was the first time I’ve come across them.

Much of my family is from Tennessee, and I went to college in Nashville, so I grew up on Goo Goo Clusters! Have not had one in ages, though — Thanks for the reminder =)
