My random thoughts…brought to you once a week!

• Has anyone ever left a carnival/fair and felt good about themselves? Between the artery-clogging food, ridiculous pay-for-play token system, and completely overpriced games…there’s just no room left for happiness.

• That new show Barter Kings smells like a cancellation in the making.

• Most underrated Boston restaurant: Carlo’s (in Allston).

• Video of the Week: I have absolutely no words for this. None.

• If you have a few minutes, I recommend reading this short article from LaVar Arrington.

• Almost nothing beats the taste of a Cheetos sandwich. I loved that combination of chips, ham, and cheese when I was 10, just like I love it now. Some sandwich shop out there needs to put it on their menu.

• My favorite New England destination: Portland, ME. Cute town, great restaurants, and they even have a minor league baseball team. What more do you need in life?

• I will never understand why flat-billed baseball caps are so cool. Oh, and let us not forget the sticker that’s never removed.

• I hate cats. My cat growing up was a complete @sshole and I never got over it.

• Go figure, after a lifetime of thinking soccer is unwatchable…I’m totally into the Euro Cup.
