My random thoughts…brought to you once a week!
- Caillou is just f-ing weird! And he’s a whiny little sh*t.
- I firmly believe the word “artisan” should be taken out of existence.
- The Texans will get smacked around pretty good this weekend….I’ll go with 31-17.
- I have read the book Hi Harry at least 1500 times. And that’s no exaggeration.
- Top 10 Things I Love About Food: #10: The smell of cilantro.
- F*cking FB!?! Again with all the change!
- Facebook Folly: Dipsh*ts who complain about FB. I just can’t stand them.
- When you have kids, going to the movies is a complete luxury. I think my last one was Role Models. I know…pathetic. That said, I am getting a babysitter and going to see Moneyball. It’s got it all…Brad Pitt’s confident arrogance, Jonah Hill is still fat, and a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes!
- My new favorite beer…Peroni. Commence to your finger pointing SirRon.
- Hi Fall, it’s nice to finally meet you! I hear your friend Winter is a real bitch in Boston.
- Mission accomplished T-Bell…I’m writing about you. Love your new Master Cutlery commercial. The dude has mad knife skills. I never knew it took such talents to take a dump on a piece of flatbread.
- Photography is all about angles and lighting!

I’m satisfied enough that I’ve infiltrated your mind and you can’t stop thinking about me. xoxo
And who says I stop at beer!
Glad to see that you’re coming to grips with the Texans so early in the season. Is it because you’re starting to fall for the Pats?!?!
Never!!! I can stomach the Red Sox and Bruins. I’d sooner eat a hot, steamy pile of cat shit than cheer for the Pats.
The smell of cilantro is invigorating. Is it readily available in Boston?
It’s here…even saw it referred to as Chinese parsley (never had seen that before).
We got so desperate for Tex Mex the other night, we pieced a meal together at home. I covered my enchiladas with fresh cilantro. Not too shabby.
Ahhh, life’s simple pleasures! Chinese parsley is an interesting term. Regular parsley looks like cilantro, so I can see the link.
I hate Tom Brady. A lot. If football is all about hate, then I’d have no doubt I’ve been doing it right.
It’s Belichek who I can’t stand.
On a positive note, I’ve been able to wear my Texans road replica jersey up here…it looks so much like a Pats uni..no one notices. And yes, I still wear a replica jersey…on gamedays.
Ugh, him too. I didn’t forget about the taping incident just like I didn’t forget the whole Tuck BS. I hate the whole team but, I actually don’t mind Ochocinco. Go figure.
More like Ochostinko…sorry, I know that was lame.
It’s a 4 point spread for a reason. Saints can’t stop anybody. The Texans defense slowed down a Miami team that hung 400 yards on the Pats, so they might just be legit. Feels like a high scoring game that will be won by the last team with the ball. In the spirit of optimism, Texans 35-31. Whole city hops on the bandwagon.
Brees will pick them apart before they can get pressure on him. As much as the D has improved, they’ve yet to go against a good QB. That said, I like your style…stay with the optimism.
Ahhh…that Texans’ optimism. I think I’ve heard it at the beginning of several seasons, only to be replaced by b*(%#ing and crying. Maybe you’ll have better luck this year…
Carrie loves Matt Schaub. She’s told me this…several times.
I just want to add that the Pats are one not only one of the finest run franchises in the NFL, but in all of US professional sports. I appreciate them for that, even if I don’t pull for them to win from week to week.
Damn Carrie!!! Look what you are doing to this thread. Now SirRon has some Pats praise.
Kevin, you are excluded from this, but I laugh at the boohoo’ing from food writers when commenters make food opinions very personal. Try sports writing, pansies.
SirRon knows where the football praise should be placed. And, if by “Matt Schaub” you mean “Tom Brady” then you are right! : )
Is it too much to ask for the Texans and Patriots to be in the AFC Championship Game this year? Somehow, I’d find a way to watch it with Carrie.
Mighty rib writer and Admin – who is better Thomas Brady or Matthew Schaub?
I would vote that each is a goodie goodie gum drops and that brady has the hardwear and schaube is a real stinkerknees
