Patio, porch, deck … whatever you want to call it, the point is that it’s warming up outside and March-May is the perfect time in Little Rock to enjoy some al fresco dining. Here is an updated post from last month that originally was my 10 Favorite Patios in Little Rock, but it now includes 45 different places.

Ciao Baci

The porch at Ciao Baci is a wonderful place to have a glass of wine (or two) and partake in Chef Owen’s 5-course tasting menu. It’s quiet and relaxed outside, making it a perfect spot for date night or to hang with friends.

The Pantry (both locations)

The Pantry Crest probably has the better patio but there’s just something I really enjoy about that small area at the WLR location. It’s nothing extravagant but it’s cozy.

Big Orange West

I’ve always enjoyed sitting outside at Big Orange West. It’s a nice place to take the kids, relax, have a burger, and do a little people watching.

NYPD Pizza

Again, nothing extravagant, but you could do far worse than devouring a Queens Deluxe Pizza at NYPD while breathing in a little fresh air. The location is super far west for many of us, but this patio is worth the drive.

Bark Bar

I just had to include Bark Bar on this list. There is so much outdoor area to this place, and, let’s face it, you get the benefit of hanging with your best friend.

Milford Track

Yes, it’s a patio outside of a boring office building, but there’s a nice pond and the calmness of one of Little Rock’s best hidden gems … Milford Track. Order the pasta with grilled veggies (pictured above).

Baja Grill

Baja Grill’s outside area is covered and offers a nice lookout to Kavanaugh Blvd. Plus, you get to enjoy margaritas, queso, guacamole, and a cheese-drenched burrito, if you so choose. What’s not to love?

The Fold

The Fold’s patio has been a hit from Day 1, offering a perfect place for diners to consume tacos and cocktails in the Riverdale, one of the city’s more underrated dining areas.

The Root

The Root does have an outside garden area with seating, but the real draw is when they open the containers in the new-ish addition of the restaurant. Diners get the benefits of a roof but also the open air and view of Main Street.

The Root

42 bar and table

This is quite possibly Little Rock’s finest outdoor restaurant area. Beautiful views, modern setting, and an improved menu give diners the total package … and 42 is now open for dinner.
