The 11th annual B Street Rib Off will take place on Saturday, September 7th in the Argenta Art District of North Little Rock. The annual event features a BBQ cooking competition focused on amateur cooking teams from across the mid-south with all proceeds from the event going to the American Cancer Society of Central Arkansas. The public is encouraged to attend the event and judge the People’s Choice category for a small donation. The event is family friendly and will kick off at 8 a.m. with results announced at 4 p.m. I’ll have Jason Brown, one of the event founders, on the radio this Friday and we’ll be talking about all things B Street Rib Off. Tune in, 88.3 FM at 9:30 a.m.

Speaking of ribs, please keep an eye out for an announcement on Facebook about the next Mighty Rib Dinner. Tentative date is September 30th. Location and menu should be available in the next few weeks.

In addition to a great time, all proceeds benefit the ministries of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church and the American Childhood Cancer Organization.
